Hans Hooijmaijers

Hans Hooijmaijers studied physics in Nijmegen. After researching at the Max Planck Institute in Göttingen. At the University of Groningen he opted for teaching. In 1999 he started as a curator at Rijksmuseum Boerhaave. He has made exhibitions about weather, light, food, clocks and telescopes.
He's especially interested in Christiaan Huygens, physics cabinets and the Leiden Observatory. His latest publications focused on Dutch planetariums, the history of navigation and the Leiden Observatory.
