Companions
Visitors who cannot move independently through the museum may bring one companion, who will be admitted free of charge.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs with harnesses are welcome in the museum.
Directions and Parking
For information on directions to the museum and parking, please see our “Plan Your Visit” page. In front of the museum entrance, there is a parking space for disabled visitors (not reservable).
Folding Stools
Lightweight folding stools are available for loan near the cloakroom and at various points in the permanent exhibition (next to Hall 1: Golden Age and in Hall 3: Disease & Health).
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower
Some disabilities are hidden and not immediately visible. Wearing a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard in our museum discreetly signals the need for extra help or assistance for visitors with invisible disabilities.
