Rijksmuseum Boerhaave is a popular location for photography and film shoots and regularly welcomes press and media. Here you can find all the necessary information to book photo/film shoots or schedule a press visit.
By visitors
As a visitor, you are allowed to film and take photographs in the museum, provided you adhere to the following conditions:
- You may not use lighting, tripods, or props.
- Equipment must be handheld.
- Other visitors should not be inconvenienced or disturbed.
- The material is for personal use only.
Professionals
Rijksmuseum Boerhaave gladly welcomes photographers and film productions aiming to showcase the stories of our collection to a broad (inter)national audience.
Requests
The processing time for film/photo requests is two working weeks and depends on the requirements of the production.
In principle, we do not charge location fees.
Requests from current affairs programs related to exhibitions and news items are given priority.
